Welcome to Wontum! These Creator Terms of Service (“Creator Terms”) govern your role as a course creator on Wontum. By signing up as a creator, you agree to these terms and conditions, as well as the general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of Wontum. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not create or offer any content on Wontum.

1. Account and Registration

To become a creator on Wontum, you must first create an account. You are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in your account. You must be at least 18 years of age to become a creator on Wontum. You are solely responsible for any activity that occurs on your account.

2. Course Creation

As a creator, you are responsible for all content you upload, including lectures, quizzes, assignments, resources, and any other material associated with your course. Your content must adhere to Wontum’s quality standards and content guidelines, which may be updated from time to time.

• Course Ownership: You retain ownership of your content, but you grant Wontum a non-exclusive license to use, distribute, and promote your course on the platform.
• Content Guidelines: Your courses must not contain any offensive, harmful, or illegal material. You are also responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.

3. Revenue Share

Wontum operates on a revenue-sharing model. You will receive a percentage of the revenue generated from the sales of your courses, which will be detailed in your creator dashboard. The revenue share may vary based on factors such as promotional activities and third-party sales.

• Payment Terms: Payments are made on a monthly basis, with a minimum payout threshold that must be met. Payments are processed through PayPal, Payoneer, or other payment methods as specified by Wontum.

4. Pricing and Promotions

As a creator, you have the ability to set the price for your courses. Wontum may offer your course at discounted prices during promotional campaigns. By agreeing to these Creator Terms, you permit Wontum to offer your course at a discounted rate as part of its promotional activities.

• Coupons and Discounts: You may create your own promotional codes for your courses. All discounts and promotions must comply with Wontum’s guidelines.

5. Content License

By submitting content to Wontum, you grant Wontum the rights to host, market, and distribute your course content. This includes promoting your content through various channels, including third-party platforms.

• Duration of License: The license you grant to Wontum is perpetual, meaning it continues even if you choose to remove your content from the platform, except in cases where Wontum has committed to a limited-time promotional activity.

6. Trust & Safety

Wontum is committed to providing a safe and trustworthy environment for learners and creators alike. As a creator, you are expected to adhere to Wontum’s Trust & Safety policies. Violations of these policies can result in the removal of your content or the suspension of your account.

• Prohibited Content: You must not post any content that violates the rights of others, is defamatory, or promotes illegal activities. Wontum reserves the right to remove any content that it deems harmful or inappropriate.

7. Instructor Responsibilities

As a creator, you agree to engage with your learners in a professional manner. This includes responding to questions, providing feedback on assignments, and maintaining the quality of your content over time.

• Student Interaction: Creators are encouraged to actively participate in discussions and respond to student queries in a timely manner. Positive interaction can enhance the learning experience and lead to better course reviews.

8. Termination

Wontum reserves the right to terminate your account or remove your content if you violate these Creator Terms or any other policies. You may also choose to terminate your creator account at any time.

• Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your access to the platform will be revoked, but Wontum may continue to use and distribute your content in accordance with the license granted.

9. Updates to These Terms

Wontum may update these Creator Terms from time to time. You will be notified of any significant changes, and your continued use of the platform as a creator constitutes acceptance of these changes.
